That's true: FFVII had Hojo, Fullmetal Alchemist (old anime) had Basque Gran, and so on. Let's just hope that he'll stop being egocentrical.

Well its a tad complicated. Proto is the only one who actually experiences every sensation in the game as though it is real life, but in certain situations, the brain still reacts as though it is real. So even though the physical body may not endure any real damage, if the mind becomes stressed enough, there could be occurrences where the player might actually "feel" what their character is encountering.

Funny enough, but things are about to get quite interesting upon that very subject, once the tri-items (omega, alpha, beta) start showing their potential in the comic. Stay tuned!


PS: Fullmetal Alchemist is awesome, I wish Id watched all of it (maybe one day when I have some funds to spare)

Ahh! I see! Interesting... it's almost like Mega Man Battle Network, only without the change of the future and the fact that the comic is all in the game and not simultaneous Cyberspace/Real World view swaps.

Funny you should mention the anime of Fullmetal Alchemist, they made yet another FMA anime and this time it's following the manga storyline. They update every Sunday, and so far they've made four episodes! (The fifth starts tomorrow.) If you want to check out that series I'll give you the links to you!

Yup, its funny, Ive played maybe two MMORPGs in my lifetime and yet these days the majority of the comics Im involved in revolve around MMORPGs. Guess Ive got Pixel Wars (and the series' that inspired it) to thank for that!


oh really? Well thats cool, Ive always liked anime that follows the manga better (have you seen the new OVA Hellsing animes? ITS AWESOME!).

I was thinking of getting the uncut, high def quality FMA that theyve been releasing in box sets, soon as I have some free cash. But if you dont mind, Ill check out the one you are talking about.

PS: I also recommend the new remastered/uncut One Piece anime. Its waaaaaaaay better than the 4kids (*shudder*) version and stays quite true to the Japanese series. Its how I learned of the uncut FMA re-releases.

The old FMA anime was not bad, but they could've ended it better. Ah well. (And no I haven't seen the new OVAs Hellsing anime. but Joe told me about it being brilliant!)
